Real-Time Alert, Inc. collects the following types of information:
- Account information (name, email, phone number)
- Location data (GPS coordinates when using the App)
- User-submitted content (photos, alert reports, text descriptions)
- Device information (device type, operating system)
- Usage data (alert history, app activity)
2. How We Use Your Information
We use collected information to:
- Operate and improve the App
- Process and verify submitted alerts
- Notify you of threats in your area
- Route alerts to law enforcement and security teams
- Store evidence for legal purposes
- Communicate with you about the service
3. Data Sharing
We may share your information with:
- Law enforcement agencies (via legal process or safety necessity)
- Venue security teams (for Hard Fence™ events you attend)
- Gold Fence™ security teams (for alerts in their operational area)
- Service providers who assist in operating the App
- Legal and regulatory authorities as required by law
We do NOT sell your personal information to third parties or advertisers.
4. Location Data
The App requires location access to function. Location data is used solely for alert routing, Safe Zone monitoring, and threat proximity calculations. You may disable location access in your device settings, but this will limit App functionality.
5. Photo and Evidence Storage
Photos submitted with alerts are stored securely for a minimum of 7 years in compliance with legal evidence retention requirements. All data is encrypted using AES-256 at rest and TLS 1.3 in transit.
6. Your Rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us at lee.jones@real-timealert.com. Note that evidence submitted in connection with active alerts may be subject to law enforcement holds.
7. Children’s Privacy
The App is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
8. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. We will notify users of significant changes via the App or email.
